Sam Shweisky Joins TigerCast To Preview 2012 Men's Volleyball Season
January 19, 2012 | General, Men's Volleyball
Shweisky has gone through a roller coaster ride in his first two years. In his first season, Princeton finished higher than it ever did in the regular season EIVA standings (second), and it reached its first EIVA final since 1998. Last year, the Tigers dealt with both injuries and inconsistency and never found its winning ways.
With three-year starters Scott Liljestrom and Michael Dye leading a roster filled with talented underclassmen, Princeton is looking for a return to the EIVA final four this season. As many as three freshmen could start for the Tigers, who will make their annual season-opening trip to California after the exam break begins.
