Dartmouth Defeats Men's Tennis in ECAC Tourney Opener

HANOVER, N.H. -- The Princeton men's tennis team dropped its first-round ECAC Championship match Friday afternoon 4-2 to host Dartmouth.
Princeton will Yale, a 4-1 loser to Harvard in the first round, Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
Dartmouth, the tournament's No. 5 seed, took the doubles point and added three more matches in singles play. Matija Pecotic, the 59th ranked player nationally, beat fellow-ranked Xander Centenari, 6-4, 6-4 at first singles. On court six, Ravi Yegya-Raman accounted for Princeton's second point, defeating Chris Ho 7-5, 6-2.
Matt Spindler was on his way to a win over Dartmouth's second ranked singles player, No. 95 Cameron Ghorbani, but his match was halted when the overall match was clinched for the Big Green. Spindler led 6-4, 5-4 on court three when the match was halted.
