The Series
Princeton is undefeated in the series with Columbia, 13-0. Last year was an interesting couple of meetings between the teams. A freak storm hit Princeton six minutes into the second half last year. The Tigers at that point led 5-4. After the lightening stopped, the officials deemed the field unplayable because of the amount of snow and hail. The teams re-scheduled for April 27 and played a new game with Princeton winning 18-10.
Scouting the Lions
Columbia is 1-4 on the season and is looking for its first Ivy League win of the season with an 0-2 mark. The Lions lost 14-10 to Brown and 19-7 to Cornell. Columbia most recently fell 14-11 to Vermont on Saturday afternoon. The Lions average 9.80 goals per game and allow 13.20 gpg. The squad converts 71 percent of the time from the eight meter (10/14).
