NEW YORK -- St. John's took two out of the three doubles matches and all six singles competitions in sweeping the Princeton men's tennis team 7-0 Sunday afternoon in Queens.
The Tigers were without top singles player Matija Pecotic, ranked No. 31 in the nation. Princeton also did not use its nationally ranked doubles pairing of Matt Siow and Matt Spindler, as Spindler only played in singles play while filling in for Pecotic.
The loss drops Princeton to 6-7 on the season. The Tigers will host Stony Brook Friday at 4 p.m. in Jadwin Gym.
