Men's Tennis Falls at Columbia, 6-1

NEW YORK -- The Princeton men's tennis team fell 6-1 at Columbia Friday afternoon as the Lions took the upper hand in a match key to deciding the Ivy League title.
Harvard entered the day with one league loss while Columbia, Princeton and three other teams entered the day with two losses.
The Lions took the lead by winning two of the three doubles matches, though Augie Bloom and Ben Quazzo prevented a doubles sweep with an 8-5 win on court three.
Matija Pecotic prevented the singles sweep with a 6-3, 6-4 win over a fellow ranked opponent in Haig Schneiderman.
The Tigers will host Cornell at 2 p.m. Sunday in the season finale.
