McMunn Earns First Ivy League Player of the Week Honor

PRINCETON, N.J. (4/9/12) - Freshman Erin McMunn of the Princeton women's lacrosse team has been named the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week it was announced by the league office on Monday, April 9.
McMunn set a Princeton record for assists in a game last week as she guided the Tigers to a 2-0 record. McMunn had six assists in a win at Temple on Wednesday, in addition to scoring a goal. On Saturday in a 12-4 win over Yale, McMunn had one goal and two assists for three points.
She contributed three ground balls and three caused turnovers for the week, while finishing the week with two goals and eight assists for 10 points.
Princeton hosts Maryland on Wednesday, April 11 at 7 p.m., at Sherrerd Field at Class of 1952 Stadium.
