Donald Anthony '79 Elected USA Fencing President

Donald Anthony Jr., a 1979 Princeton alumus, has been elected as President of USA Fencing, the organization announced June 3.
Anthony, a former Senior World Team member and Veteran World silver medalist, will lead a five-member Board of Directors. At Princeton, he was a three-year letterwinner, winning the team's Johnston Award in 1979.
Anthony's election comes not long after three Princetonians earned places on the U.S. fencing delegation to the Olympic Games. Maya Lawrence '02, Soren Thompson '05 and Susannah Scanlan '14 will be in London when the Games begin in July.
