Oilers' Fedun Happy to be Done Rehab

EDMONTON - Taylor Fedun is delighted to be able to simply focus on hockey.

For most players, Perry Pearn's three-on-three conditioning camp is a beginning.

But for Fedun, it marks the end of a long journey after breaking his leg with the Edmonton Oilers in an exhibition contest last year.

"It's awesome, it's a really nice place to be in after what I've been through in the last year," said Fedun. "I think we're coming up on 11 months, because it happened at the end of September.

"I had obviously spent last summer preparing for something a little different. But after the accident happened, everything was well taken care of, the staff and everything I did with the rehab went really, really well. I had very good people to work with."
