Sprint Football Tripped Up at Army

The Princeton sprint football team struggled to find its offensive bearings and ultimately suffered a 57-0 loss at Army Friday evening in West Point, N.Y.
The loss dropped the Tigers to 0-6, 0-5 CSFL heading into the season finale at Penn on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.
Things got off to a rocky start with a Chad Cowden fumble two plays into the contest, setting up a 20-0 run for Army in the first quarter.
From that point forward the Black Knights controlled all facets of the game aside from a forced fumble that was picked up by Bob Dougherty in the fourth quarter.
John Wolfe had 97 yards over his eight kick returns en route to 151 all-purpose yards on the day, while Haydn Melia had three solo tackles and one for a loss. Kyle Douglas, Richard Freling and A.J. Sibley also finished with three tackles apiece.
