Princeton Women's Volleyball Stumbles at Harvard, 3-0

The Princeton women's volleyball team dropped to 9-8 (4-3 Ivy League) on the season with a 3-0 (26-24, 25-14, 25-21) loss to rival Harvard Saturday evening. Junior Kendall Peterkin paced the Tiger attack with a team-high 11 kills and seven digs.
Princeton, coming off an exhausting 3-2 loss at Dartmouth one night earlier, tried to get out to a quick start at Harvard, but a tight first set went Harvard's way. Princeton held one set ball, but Harvard fought it off and got an ace and a block to take the set. After rolling through the second, Harvard was able to win seven of the final eight points in the third to claim the match.
Junior libero Sarah Daschbach had 20 digs for Princeton, while both middles Nicole Kincade and Brittany Ptak contributed a trio of blocks. Kincade joined outsides Cara Mattaliano and Kelly Matthews with six kills apiece, while junior Lauren Miller had 27 assists.
Princeton will return to Dillon Gym Friday night to take on Penn at 7 pm.
