Weisz tied his career best with 18 points Friday night.

• Princeton is 1-0 for the third straight year after Friday night's win over Rider. If the Tigers can win at George Mason, they'd be 2-0 for the first time since the 2009-10 season.
• Princeton and George Mason have met only once, last season in a 71-66 win at Jadwin Gym. Princeton got a double-double from the now-graduated T.J. Bray, not in points and rebounds but points and assists as the soon-to-be first-team All-Ivy Leaguer had 18 points and 10 helpers. Ben Hazel (14 points) Hans Brase (12) and Denton Koon (10 points) also scored in double figures. Not counting Denton Koon, who is injured, Princeton returns just 30 of its 71 points from last year with Hazel, Brase and Pete Miller (four). George Mason returns just 14 of its 66 points, with the biggest share of those gone having been scored by Sherrod Wright (27).
• Princeton enters the season returning 56 percent of its points from a year ago after losing four seniors: T.J. Bray (18.0 ppg in 2013-14), Will Barrett (10.3 ppg), Jimmy Sherburne (4.3 ppg) and Chris Clement (2.7 ppg). That group accounted for nearly 40 percent of the team's minutes.
• In Will Barrett and T.J. Bray, Princeton graduated its top two 3-point scorers. Combined, the pair had 115 of the team's 278 3-point buckets. Princeton returns 51 percent of its 3-pointers from a year ago, with Spencer Weisz and Hans Brase co-leading the returners with 34 apiece.
• Princeton's 70.6 ppg average from 2013-14 and its 64.4 ppg allowed were both the team's most since the 1971-72 season.
• Prior to Amir Bell, with Friday night's start, and Spencer Weisz last year, Douglas Davis '12 and Patrick Saunders '12 were the last Princeton freshmen to start a season opener, in 2008.
• Princeton coach Mitch Henderson is presently ninth on the program's all-time wins list, but he could move up to seventh by midseason. He's now at 59 wins, behind predecessor Sydney Johnson (66) and John Thompson III (68). Both are fellow Tiger alumni, Johnson (head coach from 2007-11) in the Class of 1997 and Thompson (head coach from 2000-04) in the Class of 1988.
• Princeton is aiming to complete a weekend sweep of George Mason on behalf of the Ivy League, which saw Cornell beat the Patriots 68-60 Friday night in the Patriot Center.
• Of Princeton's 150 starts last season, 82 went to non-seniors.
• Last season's 278 3-pointers bettered the previous program record of 265, set in Mitch Henderson's senior year of 1997-98.
• In 58 Ivy League seasons, Princeton has posted 52 winning Ivy seasons, four 7-7 finishes and just two losing records.
• Mitch Henderson is trying to become the first Princeton coach since John Thompson III '88 (Princeton coach 2000-04) to have winning campaigns in each of his first four seasons as Princeton coach. Henderson would be the sixth Princeton coach to do so (Leuhring, Van Breda Kolff, Carril, Carmody, Thompson).
• Princeton closed last season with two national top-10 statistical rankings. The Tigers were No. 7 in fewest fouls (508) and fourth in 3-pointers per game (9.3).
• George Mason coach Paul Hewitt and Princeton coach Mitch Henderson were named to their posts within 10 days of each other in April 2011. Henderson is two wins ahead of Hewitt, 59-57.
• After 24-win and 22-win seasons under Hewitt, the Patriots fell to 11-20 a year ago. The team lost its top two scorers from last season in Sherrod Wright (15.6 ppg) and Byron Allen (15.4 ppg), with last year's third-leading scorer, Patrick Holloway, scoring a game-high 22 points Friday night against Cornell.

Mitch Henderson '98 is in his third season as Princeton's head coach. His overall record at Princeton is 59-32.
Under Henderson, Princeton is 31-8 at home, 28-14 in the Ivy League, and 18-3 in the Ivy League at home. Princeton is 46-11 when leading at the half under Henderson.
Henderson is the first Princeton coach since John Thompson III '88 (2000-04) to have winning seasons in each of his first three campaigns. He is the sixth Princeton coach to accomplish that, following Frederick Luehring (1912-20), Butch van Breda Kolff '44 (1962-67), Pete Carril (1967-96), Bill Carmody (1996-2000) and Thompson III '88 (2000-04).
Henderson is in ninth place on the Princeton all-time wins list, with predecessor Sydney Johnson '97 in eighth with 66 wins over four seasons.
Henderson was a second-team All-Ivy Leaguer in 1998, an honorable mention All-Ivy Leaguer in 1997, and was a two-time Ivy Rookie of the Week in 1994-95.
Henderson graduated as the fourth-leading assist man in program history (kept since 1974-75) and is now sixth, having been surpassed by two of his players, Ian Hummer '13 and T.J. Bray '14. Henderson graduated fifth in career steals (kept since 1974-75) and is now ninth, having been passed by former teammate Gabe Lewullis '99, current San Diego Padre Will Venable '05, Marcus Schroeder '10 and his former player T.J. Bray '14.
Henderson is one of six Princeton alumni who are current Division I head coaches, including John Thompson III '88 (Georgetown), Joe Scott '87 (Denver), Mike Brennan '94 (American), Chris Mooney '94 (Richmond) and Sydney Johnson '97 (Fairfield).
Prior to Princeton, Henderson coached at Northwestern for 11 seasons under his final head coach at Princeton, Bill Carmody, from 2000-11.
