Tosan Evbuomwan '23
Brooklyn Nets
After spending time with the Detroit Pistons and Memphis Grizzlies in 2024, Evbuomwan signed a two-way contract with the Brooklyn Nets in 2025. He appeared in 28 games for the Nets in 2024-25 and averaged 9.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists. On Jan. 12, 2025, Evbuomwan scored a career-high 22 points against the Utah Jazz.
Named to the NCAA South Region All-Tournament Team after leading the Tigers to the Sweet Sixteen, Evbuomwan accumulated an impressive list of accolades in 2022-23 that includes National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 13 First Team, Ivy League Tournament Most Outstanding Player, Ivy Madness All-Tournament Team, Unanimous Ivy League First Team, Academic All-Ivy League, College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District and London Basketball Classic MVP. Evbuomwan was also the 2022 Unanimous Ivy League Player of the Year and collected First Team All-Ivy and All-District honors.

Keeshawn Kellman '23
MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg
Keeshawn Kellman signed his first pro deal with MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg of the German Bundesliga.
A starter and key player in the Tigers' 2023 March Madness run, Kellman's 9-for-9 shooting effort against Hofstra on Nov. 7, 2023, ranks No. 2 all-time in program history for most makes without a miss. That night, he scored a career-high 21 points against the Pride. Kellman's field goal percentage of 61.4% in 2022-23 ranks No. 11 on the Tigers' all-time list and ranked second in the Ivy League in field goal percentage.

Ryan Langborg '23
FIBA 3x3 Pro Circuit
Ryan Langborg '23 began playing on the FIBA 3x3 Pro Circuit in 2025 with London, a team ranked No. 12 in the world.
At Princeton, Langborg became a March Madness legend and helped the Tigers to the Sweet Sixteen. In NCAA Tournament play he averaged a team-high 18.7 points and 3.2 rebounds.

Devin Cannady '20
Panionos
Now a member of Panionos in the Greek League, Cannady was previously a member of the Birmingham Squadron in the NBA G League and also Devin Cannady '20 signed with the Orlando Magic in 2021. He made an impact during his time in Orlando, scoring 17 points against the New Orleans Pelicans on May 22. Previously, he was named 2021 NBA G League Finals MVP after leading the Lakeland Magic to the G League title after scoring 22 points, pulling down six rebounds and having out four assists against the Delaware Blue Coats on March 11.
After playing with the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2019 NBA Summer League, Devin Cannady '20 signed a contract with the Brooklyn Nets in October 2019. He was then assigned to Brooklyn's G-League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, where he averaged 14.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
Princeton's fifth-leading all-time scorer with 1,515 points, Cannady finished with the third-most three-point field goals in program history at 268 and graduated as the program's leading free throw shooter by percentage among those with at least 100 attempts, at .896. A two-time All-Ivy League honoree, Cannady was part of the Tigers' 2016-17 team that went 14-0 in Ivy League play, won the Ivy League title and made it to the NCAA Tournament.

Ethan Wright '22
Leicester Riders
Ethan Wright '22 signed with the Leicester Riders after playing his first pro season with Romanian squad CSM Tárgu Jiu. Wright was part of a Rider squad that won the Super League Basketball title, and was named Sixth Man of the Year by the league.
At Princeton, Wright helped lead the Tigers to the 2022 Ivy League Championship. He was named to the 2022 All-Ivy League and National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Second Teams and was three-time Ivy League Player of the Week in the 2021-22 season. Wright was also named to the NABC Honors Court in 2022.
Wright's 70 made three-pointers in the 2021-22 season rank 12th all-time in school history and his 119 career made three-pointers rank 24th. In Wright's senior year he finished third in the Ivy League in rebounds (206) and fourth in rebounds-per-game (6.9), shot 50.0% from the field, which ranked third in the Ivy League, ranked third on the team in scoring (14.7), and third in the conference in three-point percentage (39.5%) and three-point field goals per game (2.3). In two full seasons at Princeton plus a shortened 2019-20 season, Wright finished with 695 points, 361 rebounds, 93 assists and 63 steals.

Jérôme Desrosiers '21
FIBA 3x3 Pro Circuit
Currently a top-50 3x3 player in the world and the No. 1 ranked Canadian, Jérôme Desrosiers has made a name for himself on the 3x3 Pro Circuit. His team, London, is ranked No. 12 in the world.
He represented Canada at the 2025 FIBA 3x3 World Cup and has played all over the world on the Pro Circuit. Moving forward, Desrosiers had Olympic ambitions for 2028.

Ryan Schwieger '21
Rasta Vechta
Ryan Schweiger '21 signed his first professional contract in July 2022 with Rasta Vechta of the German ProA League and has played for the team for the past three seasons.
Schwieger was a two-time Ivy League Player of the Week at Princeton, and accumulated 483 points, 168 rebounds, and 101 assists in two seasons along with a shortened 2019-20 season. In 2019-20, he led the Tigers in assists with 2.6 per game and was the team's third-leading scorer, averaging 10.7 points, shooting 45.7% from the field, 37.3% from three, and 88.1% from the free throw line. In 2018-19, he had seven double-figure scoring games that all took place after the January finals break, and shot 57.8% from the field and 55.0% from three over his last four games of the season in late February and early March.

Amir Bell '18
Petrolina AEK
Amir Bell '18 was named MVP of the Cypriot Division A Championship Game after scoring 38 points and leading AEK Larnaca to the 2024-25 league title.  Bell played the 2023-24 season for Anwil Wloclawek in Poland, was named the league's Defensive Player of the Year. 2022-23 saw Bell play for Brose Bamberg in the German Bundesliga after playing from 2019 until 2022 in Israel for Hapoel Be'er Sheva. He payed the 2018-19 season for Agrigento in Italy and his first professional season with the Kuala Lumpar Dragons of the ASEAN League.Â
The 2017-18 Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year, Bell scored 1,034 points and handed out 313 assists, sixth all-time in school history, during his career at Princeton. Bell was part of the Tigers' 2016-17 team that went 14-0 in Ivy League play, won the Ivy League title and made it to the NCAA Tournament.

Spencer Weisz '17
Hapoel Be'er Sheva
Weisz returned to Hapoel Be'er Sheva in 2024, after previously playing for Hapoel Afula in 2023-24 and Hapoel Haifa from 2021-23. Formerly, he was team captain of Hapoel Be'er Sheva, where he averaged 12.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game. In 2018-19 he played for Macabbi Ashdod and he began his post-Princeton career with  Hapoel Gilboa Galil in 2017-18.Â
The only player in school history to exceed 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists and 200 three-pointers throughout his career, Weisz was the 2016-17 Ivy League Player of the Year. He was a three-time All-Ivy League honoree and the 2013-14 Ivy League Rookie of the Year. Weisz was part of the Tigers' 2016-17 team that went 14-0 in Ivy League play, won the Ivy League title and made it to the NCAA Tournament.

Henry Caruso '17
FIBA 3x3 Pro Circuit
Henry Caurso '17 currently plays on the FIBA 3x3 Pro Tour and has represented Team USA in 3x3 basketball on multiple occasions, including at the 2025 FIBA 3x3 World Cup in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Prior to joining the 3x3 pro circuit, he played for Donar uit Groningen of the Dutch Basketball League (DBL). He played his first professional season with Heros Den Bosch of the DBL, averaging 11.5 points, five rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
Caruso was an All-Ivy League honoree in the 2015-16 season, where he led the team in scoring at 15.0 ppg, in steals with 37, in rebounds at 6.2 per game, and in free throws and attempts at 94 of 131. He ended his career at Princeton with 640 points, 270 rebounds, 68 assists and 43 steals.

Ian Hummer '13
Free Agent
Most recently a member of the Tasmania JackJumpers in the Australian NBL, Ian Hummer '13 has had a lengthy professional basketball career. Prior to Tasmania, Hummer played for Osaka Evessa of the Japanese B. League. Hummer also played for Peristeri Athens in 2023 after playing for Galatasaray Net in Turkey in 2022-23. The 2021-22 season saw Hummer play in Greece for AEK Athens. In 2020 he suited up for both EWE Baskets Oldenburg of the German Budesliga (BBL) and Tesküt Bandirma of the BSL. Hummer has also played for Nizhny Novogrod of the Russian VTB United League (2019), AS Monaco Basket of the French LNB Pro A (2018-19), Avtodor Saratov of the VTB United League (2017-18), Ted Ankara Kolejilier of the BSL (2016-17), BG Göttingen of the BBL (2016), Nilan Bisons Loimma of the Finnish Korisliiga (2014-15) and ratiopharm Ulm of the BBL (2014).Â
Appearing in 123 games at Princeton, more than any other Tiger, Hummer was the 2012-13 Ivy League Player of the Year and a three-time All-Ivy League honoree. Hummer is the second-leading scorer in school history with 1,625 points and also recorded 725 rebounds, 308 assists, 140 steals and 109 blocked shots. Hummer was part of the 2010-11 team that won a share of the Ivy League Championship and played at the NCAA Tournament.

Bill Carmody h75 is a former head coach at Holy Cross, Northwestern and Princeton. He is an honorary member of the Princeton Class of 1975.
Dave Blatt '81Â served as the head coach of the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers, leading the team to the NBA Finals in 2015, and is now the head coach at Olympiacos in Greece. He was previously the head coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel and the Russian National Team and has coached pro teams in Italy, Russia and Turkey.

Princeton basketball alumni are making their mark off the court as well. A few such alumni are listed below.
Will Venable '05Â was also a standout baseball player at Princeton and was in the San Diego Padres organization from being selected in the seventh round of the 2005 MLB Draft until being traded to the Texas Rangers during the 2015 season. He moved on to the Los Angeles Dodgers for the 2016 season. He made his Major League debut with the Padres on Aug. 29, 2008, and during the 2013 season passed Moe Berg '23 for most games played in the Major Leagues by a Princeton alum (967) and hits in the Major Leagues by a Princeton alum (707). He was named first base coach for the Chicago Cubs beginning in the 2018 season.
Chris Young '02Â also pursued a baseball career, making his MLB debut on Aug. 24, 2004 for the Texas Rangers and helping the Kansas City Royals win the World Series in 2015. He remained with Texas through the 2005 season before moving on to the San Diego Padres, for whom he pitched from 2006-2010. In 2011 and 2012, he pitched for the New York Mets. He pitched for the Seattle Mariners in 2014 before moving on to Kansas City from 2015-17. He was named MLB's VP of on-field operations, initiatives and strategy in 2018.
Steve Mills '81, is the former General Manager of the New York Knicks. He worked for the NBA from 1983-99, serving his last four years there as the Vice President for Basketball and Player Development. From 1999-2009, he worked at Madison Square Garden, serving as the President and CEO from 2003-09.
Craig Robinson '83, the Executive Director of the NABC, has worked in the front office of the New York Knicks. He is the former head coach at Oregon State (2008-14) and Brown (2006-08) and a former assistant coach at Northwestern.
Larry Lucchino '67Â was the President and CEO of the Boston Red Sox from 2001-15 after serving in similar capacities with the San Diego Padres and Baltimore Orioles.
