Syracuse Defeats Women's Soccer

A first-half penalty-kick goal in the first half and a couple quick second-half goals lifted Syracuse past the Princeton women's soccer team 3-0 on Sunday afternoon in Central New York.
Syracuse's Abby Incorvaia was tripped up at the top of the 18 in the 27th minute, and teammate Vickie Jones converted the PK to get the Orange on the board. The second-half goals came just 21 seconds apart, with Incorvaia getting the first and Farrah Stephens-Martin the second.
Total shots finished even at 14-14 with the Orange getting eight shots on goal to five for the Tigers.
Princeton will have a pair of home matches this week, hosting West Virginia on Thursday night and James Madison on Sunday morning.
