Women's Lacrosse Selected 16th in IWLCA Preseason Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. (2/5/14) - The Princeton women's lacrosse team has been tabbed No. 16 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) 2014 preseason poll.
Princeton received 95 points and is one of two Ivy League teams ranked in the 20-team poll, with Penn also cracking the list.
Defending national champion North Carolina is the top selection with 398 points and 360 first-place votes.
Princeton's 15-game schedule features six teams ranked in the poll, including No. 2 Maryland, No. 7 Penn State, No. 8 Virginia, No. 9 Loyola, No. 10 Georgetown and No. 15 Penn.
The Tigers kick off the season at No. 9 Loyola on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m.
