Jack Strabo Named USILA Scholar All-America
May 23, 2014 | Men's Lacrosse
Jack Strabo the athlete played a position in men's lacrosse that pretty much precluded him from ever being an All-America.
Jack Strabo the student was more of a shoo-in.
Strabo, a four-year starter and one of the best shortstick defensive middies Princeton has ever had, was named a USILA Scholar All-America. Strabo is an economics major with a finance certificate who is headed to work for Morgan Stanley as an investment banker.
As a winner of a USILA award, Strabo will be honored in Baltimore Saturday morning in conjunction with the men's lacrosse FInal Four.
A tri-captain and Academic All-Ivy League selection, Strabo had a goal, three assists, six caused turnovers and 16 ground balls as a SSDM, a position that is crucial to a team's success, even if it isn't represented on the USILA All-America list. He finished his career with five goals, five assists, 20 caused turnovers and 58 ground balls.Into the Ivy: 2026 Princeton Men's Lacrosse
