Sept. 25 TigerCast: Cameron Porter & DiAndre Atwater
September 25, 2014 | Football, General, Men's Soccer
As they both head into home Saturday showdowns before their Ivy League openers, men's soccer senior Cameron Porter and junior running back DiAndre Atwater share some early-season thoughts on the latest edition of TigerCast.
Porter is the leading scorer on the men's soccer team with four goals in Princeton's first six games. An All-Ivy performer the last two seasons, Porter helped Princeton pick up a road win at Drexel Wednesday night and will lead the Tigers to Roberts Stadium Saturday afternoon for a 4 pm showdown with Binghamton. That will be Princeton's last game before its Ivy opener the following weekend against Dartmouth.
Atwater was also an All-Ivy honoree last season, and he averaged 8.0 yards per carry last weekend in a 39-29 loss at San Diego last weekend in the football season opener. Atwater has been one of Princeton's most productive backs recently, and he talks about his comfort in the offense, and the growth Princeton needs to make this week.
TigerCast is the official podcast of Princeton Athletics. Each Thursday, a new edition will feature interviews with student-athletes and coaches, as well as some perspective on both past results and upcoming competitions.
