A header from Tyler Lussi bounced off the post and into the net with 10 seconds before halftime at Brown Saturday, and things kept going Princeton's way after the break in a 4-0 win. Mimi Asom scored just 1:17 into the second half when she broke free for a goal to make it 2-0. Vanessa Gregoire lofted a short corner kick into the far corner of the net to make it 3-0 in the 62nd minute, and Alessia Azermadhi knocked in a crossing pass from Natalie Larkin in the 76th minute for the final goal. The win ran Princeton's winning streak to seven games after a 2-3 start, and the Tigers are 3-0 in the Ivy for the first time since 2012. |
