Princeton Sprint Football Returns to Action Against Cornell

PRINCETON, N.J. – Following consecutive bye weeks, the Princeton University sprint football team returns to action on Friday, Oct. 16 at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.
Coming off of an 86-0 loss to Army in their home opener on Sept. 25, the Tigers will look to snap a streak of 103 consecutive games without a win over a CSFL opponent dating back to 1999. Cornell carries a 2-2 overall mark into this week's showdown after suffering a 29-12 loss to Penn on Oct. 9.
Friday's contest will be broadcast on the Ivy League Digital Network. Live stats will also be available.
LAST TIME OUT: PRINCETON
• The Tigers suffered an 86-0 loss to Army in their home opener on Sept. 25.
• Gaining 81 yards through the air, Princeton lost 79 yards on the ground.
• Army rolled up 499 yards of total offense, which included 288 rushing yards (8.0 ypc).
• Facing pressure from the onset, quarterback Chad Cowden was sacked seven times and completed 9 of his 20 pass attempts for 81 yards and an interception.
