Princeton's Donio-Enscoe Named Ivy League Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Princeton freshman Jane Donio-Enscoe has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week after helping the Tigers split a pair of games against Brown and No. 1 Syracuse.
An integral part of the Princeton attack, Donio-Enscoe collected five points over the weekend on two goals and a helper. Donio-Enscoe's Ivy honor is the seventh for the Tigers this season.
Anya Gersoff was named the conference's Co-Player of the Week on Sept. 8, while Maddie Copeland garnered POTW accolades on Sept. 22 and Oct. 6. Sophia Tornetta has twice been named the league's Rookie of the Week (Sept. 8, Sept. 29), while Nicole Catalino garnered ROTW recognition on Oct. 13.
Helping to lead the charge against Brown, Donio-Enscoe had a hand in two of Princeton's four goals. With the Tigers trailing 1-0 Donio-Enscoe helped set up Elizabeth George's equalizer at 12:53. Less than two minutes later, Donio-Enscoe put away a rebound in front to put Princeton on top.
The following afternoon, Donio-Enscoe broke a scoreless deadlock against No. 1 Syracuse in the 32nd minute to give the Tigers a lead over the unbeaten Orange at the intermission. In 11 appearances this season, Donio-Enscoe has recorded six points on two goals and a pair of helpers.
