• Princeton is 2-0 for the first time since the 2009-10 season and will try to start 3-0 for the first time since the 2003-04 season with a win over Lafayette. All fans in attendance at Wednesday's game will receive a schedule cup.
• The Tigers have played Lafayette annually since the 1990-91 season. The series with Lafayette, set for its 68th meeting Wednesday night, is Princeton's second-most played non-league series after Rutgers and is Princeton's longest-running active non-league series.
• Princeton returns 44 of its 66 points from last season's trip to Lafayette on Nov. 19, 2014, which Lafayette won 83-66. Spencer Weisz led the team with 19 points and seven boards, with Hans Brase adding 17 points and Pete Miller had 14 points. Lafayette returns 30 of its 83 points from a game in which the starting five had 82 of the 83 and all five were in double figures. The Leopards graduated Dan Trist (13), Joey Ptasinski (21) and Seth Hinrichs (19) from that lineup, returning Nick Lindner (17) and Bryce Scott (12).
• Princeton shot 60.9 percent from the field in last season's meeting, but it wasn't good enough to win as the Leopards shot 68 percent and nailed 10 of 17 3s. Princeton was 10 of 19 from 3-point range and outrebounded the Leopards 28-25, but the Tigers committed 17 turnovers to just seven for the Leopards in addition to allowing the 68 percent shooting from the field.
• All of Princeton's points and minutes have been scored and played by players who are able to return next year. Nine players have seen floor time so far, among them four juniors (Weisz, Miller, Cook, Caruso), three sophomores (Forbes, Bell, Brennan) and two freshmen (Cannady, Stephens). Henry Caruso leads the Tigers at 16 points per game after tying his career best with 23 points last time out against Saint Peter's.
• Princeton has shot .423 from the field over the first two games but has also allowed opponents to shoot .402, with 3-point percentages (.333 for Princeton to .325) similarly aligned. Princeton has a rebounding edge as well, but also slight at 39.5 to 37.0.
• While Princeton has a positive assist-to-turnover ratio on the season (23:20), Spencer Weisz has been excelling in that category so far, dishing a team-best nine helpers to just one turnover.

• Lafayette was picked sixth in the 10-team Patriot League's preseason poll, with junior guard Nick Lindner as a preseason all-league pick with just one five-player team selected.
• The Leopards won the Patriot League tournament last year as the draw's fourth seed, upsetting top-seeded Bucknell in the league semis and then knocking off sixth-seeded American, coached by Tiger alum Mike Brennan '94, 65-63 in the final. The Leopards drew a 16th seed in the NCAA Tournament and fell to top-seeded Villanova 93-52 in Pittsburgh in the Round of 64.
• Lafayette had a first-team All-Patriot League pick in forward Dan Trist last season and two third-teamers in forward Seth Hinrichs and guard Nick Lindner, but of the three, only Lindner is back this year with Trist and Hinrichs as seniors a season ago.
• The Leopards are 1-3 after an 83-75 loss Monday at La Salle. Lafayette opened the season with an 85-76 loss at George Washington before holding off Saint Peter's, Princeton's last opponent, in overtime in Easton two weekends ago. Lafayette then went to NJIT and lost 80-66 this past Saturday.

• Lafayette coach Fran O'Hanlon has been at his post since 1995 and is tied for the sixth-longest active tenure in NCAA Division I men's basketball, behind Jim Boeheim (Syracuse), Mike Krzyzewski (Duke), Greg Kampe (Oakland), Dave Loos (Austin Peay) and Bob McKillop (Davidson). Speaking of long-tenured coaches, 18 skippers have been at their current posts since before the calendar flipped to 2000, and Princeton will face three of them this season: O'Hanlon, Phil Martelli (Saint Joseph's, since 1995) and James Jones (Yale, since 1999).
• Though the Leopards have averaged 76 points per game through their first four games, Lafayette has struggled defensively, giving up 83.5 points per game and a .458 shooting clip from the field. The Leopards have been better defensively around the arc, with opponents hitting 24 of 83 tries for a .289 clip there. Rebounding has also been a struggle for the Leopards so far, with Lafayette being outrebounded by 15-plus boards a game, 45.2 to 29.5.
• Sophomore forward Matt Klinewski leads the team in scoring at 18.3 ppg and on the glass with 5.3 boards per game. Klinewski had 23 points Monday night at La Salle to move past preseason all-league pick junior guard Nick Lindner, who is now second on the team at 15.5 ppg.

| Mitch Henderson '98 is in his fifth season as Princeton's head coach. His overall record at Princeton is 76-46. Under Henderson, Princeton is 42-11 at home, 37-19 in the Ivy League, and 23-5 in the Ivy League at home. Princeton is 60-16 when leading at the half under Henderson. Henderson is the first Princeton coach since John Thompson III '88 (2000-04) to have winning seasons in each of his first four campaigns. He is the sixth Princeton coach to accomplish that, following Frederick Leuhring (1912-20), Butch van Breda Kolff '44 (1962-67), Pete Carril (1967-96), Bill Carmody (1996-2000) and Thompson III '88 (2000-04). Henderson is in seventh place on the Princeton all-time wins list. Bill Carmody, who was a Princeton assistant for Henderson's first two seasons and head coach for Henderson's last two, is in sixth place with 92 wins. Carmody hired Henderson as an assistant coach at Northwestern in 2000, where Henderson remained for 11 seasons until coming to Princeton. Henderson was a second-team All-Ivy Leaguer in 1998, an honorable mention All-Ivy Leaguer in 1997, and was a two-time Ivy Rookie of the Week in 1994-95. Henderson graduated as the fourth-leading assist man in program history (kept since 1974-75) and is now sixth, having been surpassed by two of his players, Ian Hummer '13 and T.J. Bray '14. Henderson graduated fifth in career steals (kept since 1974-75) and is now ninth, having been passed by former teammate Gabe Lewullis '99, Will Venable '05, Marcus Schroeder '10 and his former player T.J. Bray '14. Henderson is one of six Princeton alumni who are current Division I head coaches, including John Thompson III '88 (Georgetown), Joe Scott '87 (Denver), Mike Brennan '94 (American), Chris Mooney '94 (Richmond) and Sydney Johnson '97 (Fairfield). |
