Postgame Notes: Saint Joseph's 62, Princeton 50
December 09, 2015 | Men's Basketball
• The win for Saint Joseph's is the Hawks' first over Princeton since 2002. Princeton had won the last two meetings and holds an 8-7 series lead.
• Junior Spencer Weisz had a career-high 12 rebounds. His previous best was 10, last achieved in his rookie season of 2013-14 against Dartmouth.
• Princeton's .288 shooting clip was a low under Mitch Henderson. A .298 clip against Wagner on Nov. 28, 2012 was the only other time in Henderson's four-plus seasons that Princeton shot below 30 percent in a game.
• The Tigers were 3 of 6 from the line, taking the fewest free throws since the 2012 season-ending defeat at Pitt (six).
• Princeton made nine 3-pointers, the fifth time in the six games this season that the team has made at least nine 3s.
• Junior Steven Cook shot 6 of 13 from the field and is shooting .487 (20-41) from the field over the last four games after opening with a .300 (6-20) clip over the first two. He has scored at least 12 points in each of the last four games after scoring 15 between the first two contests.
