McMunn & Slifer Selected to North-South Senior All-Star Game

PRINCETON, N.J. (5/12/15) - Princeton women's lacrosse seniors Erin McMunn and Erin Slifer have been selected to participate in the 2015 IWLCA/DeBeer Division I North-South All-Star Game.
The game will be held at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa. on Saturday June 6. Game time is at 11:30 a.m.
Coaches of the North Team will be Princeton's own Chris Sailer and Jenn Cook.
McMunn and Slifer were named IWLCA All-Region yesterday afternoon, as the post-season awards begin to stream in for the duo, who were both members of the Ivy League All-Tournament Team.
This year's Ivy League Midifelder of the Year, Slifer leads the Tigers in scoring with 70 points on 41 goals and a team-high 29 assists. She adds 23 draw controls, 12 caused turnovers and 25 ground balls. Slifer is ninth all-time in program history in scoring wiht 178 points and is third in career assists with 80. With 98 career goals she is just two away from her 100th.
A second-team All-Ivy League section this seaosn, McMunn currently ranks third on the team in scoring. She has 47 points on 29 goals and 18 assists, while adding 25 draws, 10 ground balls and six caused turnovers. McMunn is second on Princeton's all-time scoring list with 221 points. She is the all-time assists record holder with 91 and ranks 11th in goals with 131.
The Tigers face Duke in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, May 16 at 1 p.m.
