Slifer Tabbed Second-Team All-America by IWLCA

PRINCETON, N.J. (5/18/15) - Senior Erin Slifer of the Princeton women's lacrosse team has been named second-team All-America by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), it was announced by the organization on Monday, May 18.
The unanimously voted 2015 Ivy League Midfielder of the Year, Slifer led the Tigers to their second consecutive Ivy League title, Ivy League Tournament title and NCAA quarterfinal round this season. The first-team all-region and first-team all-Ivy Leaguer led Princeton in scoring with 71 points on 41 goals and 30 assists. A two-time national Player of the Week this season, Slifer also garnered three Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week honors and was on the Ivy League All-Tournament team. In addition to being named Inside Lacrosse presason and mid-season All-America, Slifer was also on this season's Tewaaraton Trophy Watch List. Selected to the IWLCA/DeBeer Division I North-South All-Star Game, Slifer finished her Princeton career ranked ninth on the all-time scoring list with 179 points. She ranks second all-time in assists with 81 and eighth in draw controls with 104.
