BOX SCORE
The Princeton men's volleyball team got nine kills from senior Devin Stearns and a five-kill, three-block effort from sophomore middle Billy Andrew, but those would not be enough to earn the Tigers' their first win of the season.
Princeton (0-6) concluded its annual post-Finals California trip with a 25-20, 25-23, 25-21 loss to Concordia College (7-1).
Stearns, coming off his historic 33-kill effort at UC-San Diego, had nine kills, three digs and one block, while classmate Zach Shaw matched Andrew with five kills. Both Kendal Ratter and Alex Schindele-Murayama had four kills, and Ratter added two digs and two aces.
Junior Chris Kennedy had 28 assists, two digs and two aces, while both Michael Bagnell and Corry Short had three digs apiece.
Princeton will return to the court and enter EIVA play next weekend when it competes at the league's newest member, Charleston. The Tigers will play both Friday (7 pm) and Saturday (2 pm) in Charleston.
