No. 7 Penn State Tops Tigers 3-0; Princeton To Host Home Pair Next Weekend

Sophomore Kendall Ratter posted 11 kills, seven digs and three blocks, but the seventh-ranked Penn State men's volleyball team stayed perfect in the EIVA with a 3-0 victory over Princeton Saturday afternoon in State College, Pa.
Ratter continued his strong recent play by hitting .368 and adding three assists, which helped the Tigers stay close in all three sets against Penn State. Ultimately, the Nittany Lions used late runs in both the first and third sets to close out the win.
Senior Devin Stearns added nine kills, while classmates Michael Bagnell and Zach Shaw both matched Ratter with a team-best seven digs. Junior Chris Kennedy paced the offense with 34 assists, while sophomore Billy Andrew added a pair of blocks.
Princeton will return home next weekend and continue EIVA play with matches against both Harvard and Sacred Heart.
