No. 34 San Diego defeated the 36th-ranked Tigers 4-0 to close the USD Challenge for the Tigers, taking the doubles point and the first three singles matches to end.
TRACK & FIELD: Black & Gold Challenge (NTS)
A weather delay pushed back the start of the Black & Gold Challenge at the University of Central Florida this afternoon, and limited action today for Princeton track & field team as the Tigers competed in just five events.
SOFTBALL: Fresno State 8, Princeton 7; San Diego State 9, Princeton 3
Princeton staged a sixth-inning rally to cut the deficit to one against No. 22/24 Fresno State, but the Bulldogs held on. San Diego State used a five-run fourth to push past the Tigers in the nightcap, 9-3.
WRESTLING: Brett Harner Finishes All-America Weekend
Junior captain Brett Harner fell 11-2 in the seventh-place match to fifth-seeded Connor Hartmann of Duke, but he remained only the ninth wrestler in Princeton history to earn All-America honors.
WOMEN'S TENNIS: Princeton 4, Rice 3
The Tigers ended their spring trip to Texas by defeating No. 46 Rice 4-3 with Caroline Joyce getting the clincher.
WOMEN'S GOLF: Princeton takes third at Pinehurst
Hana Ku and Amber Wang co-led Princeton as the Tigers took third in their first event of the spring Saturday at Pinehurst No. 8 in North Carolina.
MEN'S LACROSSE: Penn 20, Princeton 10
Princeton dropped its Ivy opener to Penn on Sherrerd Field. Austin Sims led Princeton with career highs of three goals and five points.
WOMEN'S WATER POLO: No. 14 Loyola Marymount 7, No. 15 Princeton 6
Freshmen Lindsey Kelleher scored two goals and had an assist, but LMU rallied from a three-goal deficit to score the win.
BASEBALL: Postponed
The Tigers game vs. Georgetown has been postponed until tomorrow. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m.
