March 06, 2016 | Men's Volleyball
A tight victory in the second set keyed the way for the George Mason men's volleyball team to record a 3-0 win over Princeton Saturday night in Dillon Gym. The win moved the Patriots into a tie with the Tigers in the EIVA standings.
Senior Devin Stearns led the Tigers with six kills and three blocks, while senior Zach Shaw added five blocks and five digs. Sophomore Billy Andrew had four kills and three blocks, while junior Kurt Thiemann had four kills and two blocks.
Junior Chris Kennedy had 18 assists and five blocks, while senior Michael Bagnell added four digs.
Princeton will take a break from EIVA play over the next two weeks, but it will head to the Midwest during Spring Break next week to play the two teams that played in the 2015 NCAA championship match, Lewis and Loyola.
