Bannantine Named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week

Princeton senior Liz Bannantine was named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending March 6.

Bannantine was instrumental in the Tigers' 11-5 win over Dartmouth in the Ivy League opener on Saturday. She and the defense held leading scorer Jaclyn Leto, who entered the game averaging 5.0 goals per game, without a single point. Bannantine made critical slides in settled defense and in transition as the anchor of Princeton's defense unit. She collected three ground balls and caused one turnover in the game as the Tigers improve to 4-0.
