Women's Swimming and Diving Set To Host Collegians Find The Cure 5K Sept. 24
September 19, 2016 | Women's Swimming and Diving
One of the best annual fundraisers on the Princeton campus will take place this Saturday, Sept. 24, as the Princeton women's swimming and diving team will host its annual Collegians Find The Cure 5K. The Collegians Find The Cure is a benefit for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
From the Collegians Find The Cure organizers:
Breast Cancer is the most common form of cancer in all women, regardless of race or ethnicity. It has impacted our closest loved ones, our friends, and our fellow Princetonians. Together, we can work towards finding a cure for this disease that affects so many women across the world.
You can register for the race at 8:15 am on the Frist South Lawn, and the race will begin at 9 am. T-shirts will be provided to those who register, while supplies last. For the first time, the committee is inviting people to submit names to be listed on our "Honor Wall," dedicated to those who have faced or are facing breast cancer. Names can be submitted under the "In Honor of" section of the information/donation page; photos may also be emailed to: dadaly@princeton.edu.
