Tigers Open Play at LSU, Schrage Bows Out at ITA Fall Nationals

Play opened Friday for the Princeton women's tennis team at the LSU Fall Classic while Stephanie Schrage's run at the ITA Fall Nationals in California came to an end.
In Louisiana, Princeton's players had three doubles matches with those from LSU, with the SEC Tigers taking all three. Once singles play began, Princeton took two of the five matches from Georgia Tech players, with Clare McKee and Gaby Pollner winning.
In California, Schrage fell 7-5, 6-3 to Michigan's 115th-ranked Chiara Lommer in the consolation round of 16 at the JW Marriott in Palm Desert, ending her run after a first-round loss in the main draw and Thursday's win over East Carolina's 95th-ranked Celia Ruiz.
Saturday at LSU, Princeton's players will face those from Kansas in doubles beginning at 10 a.m. ET followed by doubles against players from Georgia Tech and singles against players from LSU.
