Phinney Captures ECAC Goalie of the Week Honors

Princeton senior Colton Phinney has been named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week for the week ending Feb. 5, it was announced by the league office this afternoon.
Phinney went unbeaten this past weekend with a 4-2 win over Yale and a 3-3 tie at Brown. He stopped a total of 59 shots for a .922 save percentage. On Friday, he made 36 saves to end Yale's six-game unbeaten streak. He followed up by stopping 23 shots at Brown, and kept the Bears from taking the lead with a save on the backdoor during a Brown power-play in the third.
The Tigers are unbeaten in their last four games, going 2-0-2. They host St. Lawrence and Clarkson this weekend at Hobey Baker Rink.
