Princeton to Face Penn in Ivy League Tournament at Cornell

The 2017 Ivy League Women's Lacrosse Tournament field and location is set, as Princeton will face Penn in the semifinals at Cornell.

With Princeton, Penn and Cornell all finishing 6-1 in the league, they share the regular-season championship. As each team went 1-1 against each other, the tiebreaker came down to goal differential and rights were awarded to Cornell. It will be the first time the Ivy League Tournament will be held at a school other than Princeton or Penn since the tournament began in 2010.

Princeton and Penn will meet in the semifinals on Friday, May 5 at 4:05 p.m., while Cornell and Harvard face off in the second semifinal at 7:05 p.m.. The winners will play for the Ivy League Tournament title, and the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Championships on Sunday, May 7 at 11 a.m.

All three games will be simulcast on the Ivy League Digital Network and the American Sports Network.

Princeton has won two Ivy League Tournament titles, in 2011 and 2015. The Tigers have been in six of the seven tournaments, have played in three championship games and has hosted twice.
