Neil Doef, 5-11/175, Forward, Smiths Falls, Ont./Smith Falls (CCHL)
Doef played two seasons with the Smiths Falls Bears of the Central Canada Hockey League – CCHL. He scored 32 goals and 52 assists in 91 regular season games and added 10 points in 16 playoff appearances. The Bears were CCHL Bogart Cup finalists in 2013-14 when Doef was named the league's Rookie of the Year after earning Rookie of the Month honors twice. In 2014, Doef was selected to play for Team Canada East at the World Junior A Challenge. While representing Canada East, Doef sustained a spinal cord injury. Two years later Doef walked onstage, with the aid of a pole and electrical stimulation brace, at the 2016 NHL Draft to accept the NHL Central Scouting E.J. McGuire Award of Excellence. The McGuire Award is given to the draft prospect who best exemplifies the commitment to excellence though strength of character, competitiveness and athleticism."
Previously Doef played for the Upper Canada Cylones organization from 2010-12, Rideau St. Lawrence Kings in 2009-10, and in the Smiths Falls Bears organization from 2004-09. He was also an alternate captain of the 2013 Ontario Hockey League (OHL_ Championship team the Ottawa District Hockey Association (ODHL).
Doef is a 2015 graduate of Smith Falls District Collegiate Institute. He also played varsity soccer.

Ryan Ferland, 6-0/175, Goalie, Franklin, Mass./New Jersey Titans (NAHL)
Ferland split the 2016-17 season between the Sioux City Musketeers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) and the New Jersey Jr. Titans of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). He played five games with Sioux City through January, posting an .891 save percentage and a 2.59 goals against average before joining the Titans. In 13 games, Ferland posted an .892 save percentage and a 3.29 GAA in the regular season. He helped the team reach the NAHL Eastern Conference finals with an .928 save percentage and a 2.04 GAA in eight playoff appearances. Ferland played two seasons with the Neponset Valley River Rats organization and was on Team Black in the USA Select 17 Camp.
A 2016 graduate of St. Mark's School, Ferland also played high school hockey. A three-time Independent School League (ISL) selection, he was named the team MVP in 2015 when he posted a .934 save percentage and a 1.89 GAA in 28 games. The Lions were 2015 and 2016 New England Champions and 2015 ISL Eberheart Champions. Ferland also lettered in baseball.

Luke Keenan, 6-1/190, Forward, Courtice, Ont./Whitby Fury (OJHL)
A three-year member of the Whitby Fury in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL), Keenan was captain and the team's MVP in 2016-17. He skated in 142 regular-season games and scored 44 goals and 75 assists. In 15 playoff appearances Keenan tallied seven points. He was alternate captain of the squad in 2015-16.
Keenan won a silver medal with Team Canada East at the World Junior A Challenge in 2016-17 as an alternate captain of the team. He was also selected for the Eastern Canada Cup in 2015-16 and 2016-17 and for the CJHL Prospects Game in 2015-16. Keenan also played for the Clarington AA zone from 2006-14.
A 2016 graduate of Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School, Keenan also played lacrosse, tennis and badminton. He was a three-year captain of the lacrosse team, team MVP as a senior and played three seasons with the Whitby Warriors Jr. A lacrosse club.

Jake Paganelli, 5-11/175, Forward, Verona, N.J./Fargo Force (USHL)
A 2015 graduate of Shattuck St. Mary's, Paganelli spent the last season in the USHL, starting the season with the Omaha Lancers before moving to the Fargo Force. He tallied six points in 16 games with the Lancers and then played in 40 regular-season games with the Force, netting 28 points.
In 2015-16 he played with the Austin Bruins (NAHL), collected 13 goals and 30 assists in 49 games. In eight playoff games, he had eight points. Paganelli was the Bruin Rookie of the Year and was a USHL fourth-round draft pick.
As a senior at Shattuck, Paganelli was the leading scorer of the Finland Hockey Showcase and was the tenth round pick in the NAHL draft. As a junior, he was second on the team in points was drafted in the third round in the USHL. Both years the Sabres were Minnesota District Champions. Prior to attending Shattuck, Paganelli spent his freshman year at Verona High School. He was on the varsity hockey team, led the team in scoring, captured Rookie of the Year honors and was selected to the USA National Festival.

Mark Paolini, 6-0/175, Defense, Toronto, Ont./St. Michael's Buzzers (OJHL)
Paolini spent the last two seasons with the St. Michael's Buzzers (OJHL). In 100 regular-season games he had 22 goals and 60 assists for 82 points. He added five points in six playoff appearances in 2016. In 2016-17 he was named OJHL first-team all-star, was runner-up for the OJHL Defenseman of the Year and was the league's Player of the Month in November. Both years he was named the team's Defender of the Year and was also the team Academic Player of the Year and MVP.
A 2016 graduate of St. Michael's College School, Paolini also played varsity lacrosse. He helped his team the Blue Gaels to two Provincial Lacrosse Championships and was named the St. Michael's Academic Athlete of the Year as a senior.

Matthew Thom, 6-3/200, Defense, Oakville, Ont./Georgetown Raiders (OJHL)
Thom played two years with the Georgetown Raiders (OJHL). The Raiders were the OJHL league champions in 2017 and runners-up in 2016. Thom collected 34 points in 101 games on defense during the regular season and added six points in the playoffs with the Raiders. He played three games in the Dudley Hewitt Cup in 2017 and was named the team's Most Defensive Player in 2016. Thom played with St. Andrew's College in 2014-15 and was teammates with incoming player Reid Yochim.
Thom is a 2016 graduate of Kings Christian Collegiate.

Colin Tonge, 5-10/185, Forward, Kingston, Ont./Brockville Braves (CCHL)
During the 2016-17 season, Tonge was a member of the Brockville Braves (CCHL). In 60 regular-season games he tallied 24 goals and 17 assists for 41 points. He appeared in four playoff games and scored once. Prior to joining the Braves, Tonge was a two-year member of the Kingston Voyagers (OJHL). In 98 regular-season games he scored 20 goals and 29 assists. In 36 playoff appearance he tallied 15 points.
Tonge is a 2016 graduate of Holy Cross Secondary School.

Reid Yochim, 5-7/180, Defense, Port Robinson, Ont./Langley Rivermen (BCHL)
Yochim spent the 2016-17 season with the Langley Rivermen in the BCHL. He collected nine points and 34 penalty minutes in 42 regular-season games. In five playoff games, he added two points. He played at St. Andrew's College with incoming player Matthew Thom was captain of the Saints in 2015-16. In 77 games, he had 18 goals and 61 points total as team captain, the most points by a defender in the league. He was named the team's MVP as the Saints won their second consecutive Conference of Independent Schools Athletics Association (CISAA) and National Independent School Invitational Hockey Championships. During the 2014-15 season with St. Andrew's he totaled 31 points in 71 regular-season games and added two more in the playoffs.
A 2016 graduate of St. Andrew's, Yochim also played varsity golf.
