Freshman Sine Scribbick Makes NCAA Championships Debut

Freshman Sine Scribbick made her debut at the NCAA Championships Friday at Ohio State; after qualifying from the Zone A Championships, Scribbick finished 48th overall with a preliminary score of 222.55 points.
Scribbick, who placed seventh in the 3-meter final at the Ivy League Championships, made impressive progress when she got to the Zone A final, where she scored 578.20 points to place fifth overall. She was the highest-ranking freshman in the event, and one of only two in the Top 10.
The freshman got off to a strong start at NCAAs, scoring 49.95 and 46.80 on her first two dives. She struggled on her fourth and fifth dives, but she bounced back nicely in her final dive to score 43.20.
