Princeton Opens Ivy Play with Win over Penn

Ivy League play began with a win Saturday for the 42nd-ranked Princeton women's tennis team, which took the doubles point and added three of the first four singles matches to end Saturday on the way to a 5-2 victory over Penn.
The Tigers will split next weekend between a match at Cornell next Friday and a visit from Columbia next Sunday.
Nicole Kalhorn and Stephanie Schrage, ranked 79th in the nation as a doubles team, and Sara Goodwin and Nathalie Rodilosso won doubles contests to take the afternoon's first point at the Lenz Tennis Center, and wins from Gaby Pollner, Rodilosso and Schrage, ranked 123rd nationally in singles, got Princeton to four points before Katrine Steffensen, ranked 121st, got Princeton a fifth point.
