Fish Captures Ivy League Honors

Freshman Sam Fish was named the Ivy League Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending April 15.
Fish made 14 saves during the week and had a .483 save percentage and an 8.15 goals against average. Against No. 2 Maryland, Fish stopped 11 shots as Princeton had a four-goal lead over the defending champions, who had not trailed by that many this season, before falling at the buzzer 11-10. Fish finished the 60 minutes with a .500 save percentage. On Saturday she allowed just four goals as Princeton took an 18-4 win over Yale, tying the largest margin of victory in the series. She added two ground balls during the week.
No. 18 Princeton hosts Cornell on Saturday, April 21 at 1 p.m.
