Mayer Leads Tigers Through One Round at Princeton Invite

Rookie Jake Mayer is the top Tiger and tied for fifth overall as the Princeton Invitational men's golf tournament heads into the final round Saturday at Springdale Golf Club in Princeton.

Mayer is at 1-under after Friday's 18 holes, just four strokes off the lead held by Cornell's Mike Graboyes at -5. Graboyes leads a trio of players by two strokes with Mayer one of seven at -1.

Cornell and Penn lead the team standings at -1, one stroke in front of both Loyola (Md.) and Seton Hall with Yale next at +5. Princeton stands sixth at +7.
