Princeton Adds 10 Players In The Class of 2022
September 26, 2018 | Men's Lacrosse
The Princeton men's lacrosse team has added 10 members of the Class of 2022 to the program, head coach Matt Madalon has announced.
The newest Tigers come from seven states and one Canadian province. There are players from four different time zones, including the program's first player ever from the state of Utah, as well as two Californians (one of whom was born in Ireland), a Texan and a Coloradan.
The class is heavy on offensive midfielders, with five of them, as well as one attackman and four poles.
"This is an important class for our program," Madalon said. "With the new rule of lacrosse and the emphasis on playing quickly and playing both sides of the field, we're confident that several of them will be stepping on the field right away. The entire class gives us great depth and will make for exciting, competitive practices every day. We're excited to coach them as the fall moves along and then see what kind of impact they will make for us this spring."
