Harvard Takes ECAC Hockey Opener, 3-0

Friday night saw the opening game of the ECAC Hockey League season for Princeton, but Harvard came away with a 3-0 win.
The Tigers were five seconds away from heafing into the first intermission tied at 0-0, but Harvard's Nick Abruzzese scored to give the Crimson the lead. Harvard followed with two more second-period goals, with one from Henry Bowlby 13 minutes in and another from Jack Badini three minutes later.
Princeton outshot Harvard 31-30 on the night, but the Crimson's Mitchell Gibson turned in the shutout in getting the win.
The Tigers will continue the road trip Saturday at Dartmouth in a 7 p.m. start.
