Princeton Picked to Repeat as Ivy League Champion

Princeton was picked to earn its sixth-straight Ivy League title in the 2019 Ivy League Women's Lacrosse Preseason Media Poll. The Tigers, who won the 2018 Ivy League Women's Lacrosse Tournament, topped the preseason poll for the third-straight year with 124 points and 12 of 16 first-place votes.Â

The Tigers have won more Ivy League Tournament Championships that any other team in the league with four. This year the Ivy League Women's Lacrosse Tournament will be held at Columbia, the first time in its nine-year history that the tournament has a predetermined site. The tournament will be held in conjunction with the Ivy League Men's Tournament on May 3 and 5.
Princeton is ranked 8th in the IWLCA preseason poll, 8th in the Inside Lacrosse preseason poll and 9th in the Nike/US Lacrosse preseason poll.
The Tigers open the season on Saturday, Feb. 16 hosting Temple at 1 p.m., on Sherrerd Field at Class of 1952 Stadium. The quest for the Ivy League gets underway on March 2 at Columbia.
