Sears Captures Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week Honors

Princeton's Kyla Sears has been named the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending March 10.

Sears had a new personal best eight-point game, as she matched her career high of six goals while adding two assists, as the Tigers rallied to defeat No. 18 Stony Brook 15-14 on Saturday. Sears was key in setting up Princeton's comeback as the Tigers trailed by four with 14 minutes to play. Sears caused a turnover with 11 minutes remaining to set up teammate Elizabeth George on Princeton's 11th goal which sparked the Tigers to a five-goal run. Sears set up the 12th goal and then scored the game-tying goal as Princeton defeated No. 18 Stony Brook 15-14.
