Kuffner Claims ECAC Hockey Player of the Month Honor

Princeton senior Ryan Kuffner was named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Month for the month of February.
Kuffner led the league in scoring during the month with 13 points in eight games. He averaged 1.62 points per game, as he scored seven goals, one short-handed, and had six assists and eight blocks. Kuffner had at least one point in every single game during the month.
Starting the month in the North Country, Kuffner a goal in an assist at St. Lawrence and the Tigers' lone goal in a loss to No. 10 Clarkson. He had an assist against Brown and had two goals, including the game winner in a 4-1 victory over Yale. He added another assist in RPI and had a goal and an assist in a one-goal loss at Union. He capped the month ECAC Player of the Week honors, with the assist on the game-tying goal versus Clarkson and scoring twice with one assist in a 5-3 win over St. Lawrence.
Princeton faces Brown this weekend in the first round of the ECAC Hockey Tournament best-of-three series.
