PUCSDT Claims 12 All-Ivy League Honors; Six Tigers Earn First-Team Distinction

Both the Princeton men's and women's swimming and diving teams produced a trio of first-team All-Ivy League honorees at their respective league championship meets in February. The full list of All-Ivy honorees has been announced by the league; four women and five men claimed recognition from the Ivy League.

The most decorated of the group is freshman Raunak Khosla, the reigning Suburban Transit/Princeton Athlete of the Week. Khosla earned first-team All-Ivy League honors after winning both the 200 IM and 200 fly, and he added second-team All-Ivy honors after a runner-up finish in the 400 IM.

Teammate Cole Buese broke through to win his first individual Ivy League championship this year when he won the 200 back. Junior Derek Cox was swimming in his first championship weekend, and he made it a memorable one by claiming the 100 breast in a 1-2 Tiger finish.

On the women's side, Regan Barney became the first Princeton Tiger to win consecutive Ivy League swimming titles in a single event since Lisa Boyce '14 when she repeated as the 400 IM champion. She was joined on the top spot of the medal podium by the diving duo of Sine Scribbick and Mimi Lin; Scribbick opened the Championships with a victory on the 1-meter board, while Lin thrilled DeNunzio on the final day by rallying to win the 3-meter event on the final day.

Lin was the only Princeton Tiger to pick up one of the top individual awards, as she was named the Rick Gilbert High Point Diver of the Meet.

Princeton also had three second-team All-Ivy honorees, including senior co-captain Joanna Curry, who took second in the 200 fly. Sophomore diver Colten Young earned second-team All-Ivy honors on both the 1- and 3-meter boards — he has now finished second in three straight Ivy diving championship events — while junior Daniel Arris placed second to Cox in the 100 breast to pick up his first All-Ivy honor.
