Donovan Named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week for Ivy Champs

Princeton sophomore defender Marge Donovan was named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending April 28.
She was also named the GoPrincetonTigers.com Athlete of the Week, presented by Coach USA.
Donovan helped Princeton win its sixth straight Ivy League title with a win at Cornell on Saturday. Donovan won a team-high seven draw controls, picked up four ground balls and caused one turnover. The defense forced Cornell into three failed clears and seven turnovers as to help the Tigers to their 15th Ivy League title - the most titles of any program in the Ivy League.
As the No. 1 seed in the Ivy League Tournament, Princeton will rematch with No. 4 seed Cornell in the semifinal on Friday, May 3 at Columbia. The winner will meet the winner of the Dartmouth/Penn semifinal in the championship on Sunday, May 5.
