No. 22 Women's Swimming & Diving Wins Program's 23rd Ivy Title

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The No. 22 Princeton University women's swimming & diving team capped off a spectacular four days inside the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatic Center by winning the program's 23rd Ivy League title. The Tigers' 23 championships are an Ivy League-best.
Princeton came out on top with 1,569 points and the championship was Princeton's 501st in school history -- extending its own Ivy League record. Mimi Lin was named the Career High-Point Diving Champion while Ellie Marquardt and Nicole Venema were two of the three High-Point Swimmers of the Meet with 96 points.
1,650 Freestyle
Marquardt added her third title of the meet, clocking in at an NCAA B cut time of 16:06.96 seconds, the second-fastest time in school history and a pool record. Elizabeth Boeckman came in fourth with a time of 16:26.29 seconds, also an NCAA B cut and the fourth-fastest time in school history.
Anna Durak took ninth in 16:34.69 seconds, the sixth-fastest time in school history.
200 Backstroke
Emily Trieu finished eighth in the 200 backstroke, touching the wall at 1:59.70 seconds while Gianna Garcia finished 12th in 1:59.26 seconds.
100 Freestyle
Princeton had four swimmers finish inside the top-eight of the 100 freestyle; Venema finished first in 48.55, the second-fastest time in school history, while Amelia Liu finished sixth in 49.58, the sixth-fastest time in school history, Sarah Grinalds seventh in 49.94 and Christina Bradley eighth in 50.07.
200 Breaststroke
Janet Zhao took second after touching the wall at 2:12.67 seconds, the second-fastest time in school history, and Christie Chong finished fifth in 2:13.86 seconds.
3-Meter Diving
Katrin Lewis finished fifth with a score of 306.00 and Mimi Lin finished seven after earning a score of 295.80. Sine Scribbick won the B final with a score of 301.50.
400 Freestyle Relay
The team of Venema, Marquardt, Bradley and Liu finished second in 3:17.11 seconds.
