Sears And Donovan Named Inside Lacrosse Media All-Americans

PRINCETON – A pair of Princeton University women's lacrosse players have been named Maverick Women's Division I Media All-Americans as announced by Inside Lacrosse.

Kyla Sears (attack) and Marge Donovan (defense) were selected as second-team All-Americans, each earning Inside Lacrosse All-America honors for the second time in their careers.

The two second-team Maverick Inside Lacrosse All-America selections are the most by any Ivy League program and the Tigers are the only Ivy team with multiple selections on the first, second or third teams.

Sears – the Ivy League leader in points with 29 – ranked No. 1 in the country in free position goals-per-game (1.8), No. 7 in the nation in points-per-game (5.8) and No. 11 in goals-per-game (4.0) as she continued her climb up the Princeton record book. She now ranks No. 6 all-time in career points by a Tiger (207) and is No. 6 all-time in assists (68) through 44 career games.

Donovan, a mainstay on defense for the Tigers the last three seasons, was in the Top-10 among Ivy Leaguers in three main statistical categories. She ranked No. 2 in ground balls-per-game (2.8), No. 5 in caused turnovers-per-game (1.4) and No. 9 in draw controls-per-game (3.4).
