Women's Cross Country Finishes 4th At Regionals; Max On To NCAAs

Princeton finished fourth at the NCAA Division I Mid-Atlantic Regionals, led by Fiona Max who was sixth overall at her first NCAA Regional meet.
The Tigers had all five of their finishers cross the line among the top-33, posting 122 points to take fourth. Georgetown was tops in the team race with 43 points. West Virginia was second with 67 points and Villanova was third with 105 points.
Fiona Max was the highest-finishing Tiger and the highest-finishing freshman overall at the meet, taking sixth in 20:28.7. Abby Loveys joined Max on the All-Region team with a 23rd-place finish in a time of 21:12.7
Max will advance to her first NCAA Championship meet next week in Tallahassee after earning an individual qualifying spot for her top-four finish among individuals not on a team which had automatically advanced.
