Women’s Swimming & Diving to Face Penn and Cornell Saturday

Philadelphia, PA – The Princeton University women's swimming and diving team travel to Philadelphia to take on the Penn Quakers and Cornell Big Red in a tri-meet at Sheerr Pool on Saturday. Meet time is set for 12:00 PM.

On the Tigers
Princeton is 3-0, with victories against Brown, Dartmouth, and Rutgers. In Princeton's most recent meet against Rutgers, the Tigers won both relay events and nine individual events en route to a 186-113 victory. Nikki Venema and Ellie Marquardt accounted for four of those individual victories.

No divers placed in the top three in either events.

On the Quakers
Penn is 2-1 to start the season, with victories over Villanova and Brown. Penn's most recent meet was against Brown, the Quakers edging the Bears 179-121. This will be Penn's first tri-meet of the season.

On the Big Red
Cornell is 2-1 on the season, with victories against St. Bonaventure and Dartmouth. Cornell's most recent meet was against Dartmouth, a 155-143 victory for the Big Red. This will be Cornell's first tri-meet of the season.
