Tigers Send Five to Day Two at MatMen Open

Five Princeton wrestlers will head to Thursday's second day of competition at the MatMen Open at NOW Arena outside Chicago.
Thursday's first session will start at 11 a.m. ET. Video is available via Rokfin here, and brackets are available on TournaFlex here.
Nate Dugan, at 174, and Marshall Keller, at 149, are two of those five, advancing the furthest in the main draw as each made the quarterfinals. Dugan beat Rutgers' 16th-ranked Jackson Turley 5-3 in sudden-victory overtime in the round of 16 before an second-period pin in a close match against Hofstra's Reece Heller. Keller won his round-of-16 match 8-3 over Brown's Blake Saito before running into Wisconsin's 11th-ranked Austin Gomez, who won on a first-period pin.
Three of the five Tigers still going will open with chances for wins over ranked opponents. At 165, Blaine Bergey will take on Penn's 29th-ranked Lucas Revano and Jake Marsh will face Northern Illinois' 18th-ranked Izaak Olejnik. At heavyweight, Jack DelGarbino will face Rutgers' 26th-ranked Boone McDermott. Dugan will continue against Rutgers' Connor O'Neill and Keller will face Illinois' Christian Kanzler.
