Andrew Calof '14 Wins Swedish Hockey League Championship

Andrew Calof '14 lifted a championship trophy with the Vaxjo Lakers after capturing the Swedish Hockey League championship following a 6-2 win which secured a win in five games over Rogle.

Calof made the most of his first season back with Vaxjo, finishing third on the team and 13th in the SHL in scoring during the regular season with 39 points (14 goals, 25 assists) during 39 games. During the playoffs, he added another four points over 12 games.

Calof is in his second stint with Vaxjo after posting a 41-point campaign during a 2017-18 season which also resulted in a SHL championship. He spent the previous two seasons in the KHL, and has now played seven seasons in either the SHL or KHL since graduating from Princeton in 2014.

While at Princeton, Calof earned 2011 ECAC Rookie of the Year honors. He was a 2011 third-team ECAC All-Star and earned second-team (2012) and first-team (2013) All-Ivy honors. He graduated with 123 career points – which ranks No. 7 all-time by a Tiger.
